About The Burger House

The Burger House Restaurant is a locally owned and operated fast food restaurant, with a “kick”. It was founded in January of 2015 by Jeffrey and Kathy Vogel, two former Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger alumni.

Kathy started her fast-food career at the young age of 16 when she was hired on as crew at the new Wendy’s on Willamette Street. From there she progressed up through the ranks and eventually worked at all of the Wendy’s Restaurants in the Eugene Springfield Area.  Her vast knowledge of food operations and her understanding of how important quality is made the transition from Wendy’s to the Burger House relatively smooth.

It was in June of 1981 that Kathy met and trained her husband to be, Jeffrey, in the art of restaurant operations. From the very beginning of his career, he understood just how important quality of food, quality of service, and quality of the facility is to making a restaurant successful.

Jeffrey and Kathy enjoyed an almost 4-decade relationship with Wendy’s before the opportunity to start their very own concept presented itself and was started in early 2015. Their experience with menu offerings has vastly expanded the high-quality product offerings of signature hamburgers, along with great chicken products as well as salads and chili, and onion rings, ice cream shakes, and of course phenomenal tasting French fries.

Adding to all that, the Burger House offers a great variety of beer and wine and to top that off you can enjoy all your food and drink while playing video lottery.

This all begs the question, “Why go anywhere else?”
